WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
The purpose of Northwest Community Church’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles”. This experience allows us to “be changed”. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life’s problems. By working and applying these biblical principles, we grow spiritually.
We become free from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. (Matthew 11:28-30)
“Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor” (Matthew 5:3)
It is not our job to fix people, change people or judge people. It’s our job to love people. The rest is in God’s hands
WHO IS IT FOR?
You do not need to be a member of Northwest to attend. We all suffer from separation through life’s hurts, hang-ups and habits.
